There are so many!!!!! Cheap but very good is the "two buck Chuck" also being sold as Crane Lake at around $3.00 per bottle. One of my favorites is Oliver soft red at apx. $7.00 per bottle. Turning Leaf offers a decent wine for under $10.00 a bottle. If you like sweet wine try Riunite Lambrusco Emilia which is about $4.00. Ask at your local liquor store, they should be able to help you out.

Whether or not you think a wine is good is a very personal thing. I have never ever thought a really cheap wine was good - red or white. However, Sterling makes an excellent moderately priced cabernet at around $17. The merlot and their chardonnay are also pretty good.

The cheapest by far is Boone's. Tastes ok, but not favourable. I also drink Jost, which is just under $10. Another fav is "Fat Bastard", or any of those along those lines (there's a bunch that's called weird names). Most of my wines cost me $20 or up as they have the best tastes and least amount of after taste.
