well that all depends on how you think it looks. you can't straighten it for good though. one of my friends is part African-American so she has EXTREMELY curly hair and she goes every.....6 months i think...to get it chemically straightened but she can only wash it before she gets it straightened or all of the chemicals wash out and her hair just poofs up to a giant afro. it's kinda cool....but yeah i think it's a little expensive to do that though.

I have curly hair too. I have comtemplated doing this as well. This is my theory-If you straigten it for good then you will not be able to have the diversity of wearing it curly. Also can you imagine growing that out. Your roots would be curly and your ends would be straight. That would be scary for a long while. I assume you have long hair because most naturaly culry haried people I know do. You are looking at a good six months.

Well since this question is in the singles section I figure you either want guys to answer your question so you will have them answer it so you will do it if most guys say they'd rather have their girlfriends hair straight, and or you want to find out that because you like a guy that you think might only be attracted to girls that have straight hair. either way that's a big reason NOT to do that. You'd be doing it out of insecurity and that's not a reason to change your hair. It'd have to be only because that's what you want and that you could answer on your own.

Whichever style that suits you better and makes you happy, some people look better with curly hair, some look better with straight hair..get a friends opinion or ask a hair specialist

I don't think you sould get it straight for good inless u know that you want it straight. I think you sould maybe flat iron or something in that nature so that way it won't be curly then and if you want your curlys they will come back

You have your hair the way God made it for you. Why change it, God's handiwork not good enough to you? Look at MJ, imagine how he would have looked like had he remained original and compare that with the mess he has made of himself. No, don't change.

if you are unhappy with your hair you should go to a beauty salon and ask them if they think it will look good...but in the end it is up to you to decide...do you think you will miss your curls after they are gone?
