Help is here.

First of all your situation is very common. Dieting can be very stressful and it takes discipline and dedication.

A person can exercise and diet for weeks and see only a slight change in lowering their weight.

You stated in your question that you eat " Lots of Healthy Foods".
I am not sure what you are eating, but "Lots" of anything is not good in any diet. A diet must be Balanced.

Motivation is a Key factor, Example: I am a Ski Racer during the winter snow months... Prior to my races, Either in my Hotel room or my Truck, I play the theme from Rocky 1...Eye of a Tiger. That song motives me.

Also, females have the issue of "Water retention"...please factor that in.

Above all, do not despair...You will see a set back from time to time....find something that makes you happy....a song or Music or a Movie. Remember that Motivation is within your self. Others can assist you and you need to be a part of a group that supports your diet and exercise.

Your greatest test is coming very soon...The Holidays. The food is so Good...smiles. And the Parties and refreshments are great...more smiles.

Contact me in email if you like....I can not offer all suggestions in this great forum.

Chow and Be happy

It's good that you are realizing that you are regressing. First of all, you have to realize that it is easier to lose weight in the beginning. This maybe what you are going through. You feel that you can lose that same amount of weight every week. Just look at the American TV show Biggest Losers. Have your family and friends support you. Exercise with a friend to make it fun Learn how to cook healthy food for yourself. Get someone to get rid of your stashes so you are no longer tempted. Good luck on your diet.

I feel your pain. I'm trying to lose a grand total of 200 lbs. and am at 85 right now. I have my days when I feel like nothing is going to work and I may as well give up but I usually go shopping with my sisters. I see what they can fit into at sizes 6 and 12 and try to calculate what I can do to get to that size and how long it will take. I also keep a life list. I write down all the things I really want to do. The idea is that if I write them down and show them to someone, usually my boyfriend, I'll be more likely to do them. This isn't the greatest advice, but it's what works for me. Just keep on going and never give up. Remember: "There's only one thing that can guarantee our failure, and that's if we quit."

Good Luck :o)

First cut yourself a little slack about the past, secondly start planning what you will do tomorrow. don't try to make up for the past by eating less or exercising harder, especially if what you were doing was working just go back to what you were doing.
