It's good preventing cystitis, so get it down you!
Mix it 50/50 with pure orange juice, it's a fantastic drink. After a while you'll start to like the chalkiness, I promise you. Alternatively a splash of vodka always lifts the mood......

Pure cranberry juice is hard to handle at first, but you only need to drink one small glass a day for effective health benefits. You eventually get used to it. The mixed cranberry juices don't have the same benefits as pure cranberry. Pure cherry juice also has women's health benefits and blueberry juice is very healthful for everyone.

If you just REALLY can't stand cranberry juice, and alot of women can't, do like I do. Get Azo cranberry from the pharmacy at WalMart or wherever. Take 2 of those with every meal and it does the same thing. It keeps the enzymes or whatever from sticking to your kidneys or bladder that cause infections. I am prone to infections, so I take those pills every day.

Try mixing it with -- among the other suggestions here -- ginger ale. Plain, unsweetened cranberry juice isn't much of a drink, and the 'Ocean Spray' (etc) stuff is too much ~ose and too little cranberry, but the plain stuff is great when mixed with something sweet.
And, yes, healthy.
Undoubtedly pretty biased, but: http://www.cranberryinstitute.org/healthresearch.htm

It's good for everyone, it has tons of antioxidants in it which fight free radicals. The nasty little pollutants from daily life which damage cells and contribute massivley to the ageing process.
It is harsh and can feel like it takes the lining of your teeth!, try putting dried cranberries in muesli; much nicer and the same effects.

Straight cranberry juice, fruit blends, or the "cocktail"? If I were pregnant, I would not drink the cocktail -- you and baby do not need that fructose. (If you're drinking the cocktail, maybe that's why baby is "kicking" - too much sugar.)
If you're drinking straight (nothing-added) cranberry juice, yes, it's great for killing bacteria, etc., but it also inhibits cell growth -- you don't want to do that to baby. If you drink, or need to drink straight juice, because of a health problem, it may be best not to drink more than 8 ounces a day.
If I were you, I'd drink the cranberry and (natural) fruit blends. Northwood is just one of the brands available in many grocery stores; a wider selection is available in health food stores

If you mix it with Archers peach schnapps and vodka it makes a cocktail called Woo Woo which is really nice. And cause its got spirits in it, it makes it a lot more fun to drink. So grab a glass, fill it with ice, one shot of each and top it up with the juice.
You might end up with a hang over but a least your pea wont burn anymore!!

It is supposed to be good for women. Try cranberry & raspberry juice instead (it's pre-mixed), it's sweeter. Also try mixing half orange juice with it.
