Not every war can come down to stupid American-esque sports-like statistics.

There is a bit more to it .

I'd say your record of intelligent questions is: 0-0-0-0-0-0-0- (etc)

Ok I can see why some folks will say that we lost Viet Nam and Korea was a tie. But the reality of the Matter is that the US Combat Troops have never lost a major Battle. WW II we lost at the Battle of the Kasserine Pass. The vaunted 1st Infantry Division was blooded against the famed German Army Cpmmander Erwin Rommel. But after that The US Combat Soldier has never lost a major engagement. So while Viet Nam fell to the Communists The Combat Troops never lost a Battle. The US Politicians lost that war. Korea was a Tie because of the Politicians and their lack of will to win.

hmm....is this a tricked question, because if you really wanna know:
In the sense of wins-losses-ties, I think its irrelevant but I say 2-1-2.
WW1 should be considered a win.
WW2 same
Vietnam should be a loss, objective basiclly was not ultimately done, while thousands of our guys never came home- its a loss.
Korean war should be niether win or loss, cant tally up a winner for a battle not yet ended.
Bosnia Clinton ...omg, "I swear I did not have sexual relations with that woman!"...a tie.
I almost forgot the Gulf war 3-1-2
war vs. Mexico 4-1-2
Cold war 5-1-2
prolly many more for the win colume.

Wars aren't like baseketball games. No one "wins". But, I suppose, history would reflect the following:

Revolutionary war -- "victory"
War of 1812 -- "Victory"
Spanish-American War -- "Victory"
War with Mexico -- "Victory"
Civil War -- "Victory"
WWI -- "Victory"
WWII -- Victory (No quotes for this one)
Korean Conflict -- basically "Victory" (kept the North from overtaking the South)
Vietnam Conflict -- basically "Loss"
First Gulf War -- "Victory"
Second Gulf War - ?
This doesn't include minor conflicts, such as Grenada, the Balkans, or Panama, where the U.S. had limited objectives and/or did not mobalize a large troop force.

Am I forgetting any?
