I agree with both of yours, but my all time favourite cheese that was only produced for one Christmas season as far as I'm aware was Cheddar with Christmas cake in it!
It might sound odd (if you don't have northern relatives/come from up north) but we always have a slice of cheddar with our christmas cake and finding cheese with the cake already in it was a delicious surprise!

I'm really into haloumi and feta at the moment, especially in olive oil with olives and peppers. I enjoyed a lovely Shropshire blue the other day, very nice. My favourite for a sustained indulgence has to be a nice extra mature red Cheddar and a bottle of Old Rosie or Westons scrumpy. Some buttered French bread and I'm well away.

I just love Danish Havarti and Port Salut. Also white stilton with mango and ginger. I don't need a nice bottle of the Dogs with it - just give me the cheese and a knife xxx

Agree with your, also white stilton with apricots is amazing on crackers. And saint Augre (shure that is spelt wrong) is second to Stilton when it comes to blue cheese.

Can't stand blue cheese, would love to know what you like about it. I LOVE tex mex which is chedder with chilli in it, also love brie and generally most cheese to be honest, especially when it's melted over things - yummy!

Cashel Blue is gorgeous!!! A creamy blue vein cheese from Ireland. I know Sainsburys did it for a while...not sure now. We used to get it for the pub from Neals Yard in London. They are a small producer, not sure now that Sainsburys had it they may have changed the production.
