My family is orig. from Tyrolia,Italy. I'd like to know all about it and if we still have family there.?

I seems as Tyrolia is in the mountains. There are not as many web sites about this place as other places. There seems to be a Ski making factory that employ the people there. Even the Hotel Tyrolia is not in Tyrolia (it is a county, not a city). Apparently Tyrolia is a strategic location for entry into Germany, and there is a game that is on the internet, so this hogs the search for Tyrolia.

For records of birth in Tyrolia, you use the Italian Vital Records sites. So, I gave you 3 good Vital Records sites, and 1 general Vital Records site.

As far as family still there, GENFORUM and some of the other general genealogy sites that encourage communication are the best sources. I communicate with Australia, Scotland, Canada, Chile, and US via this type of forum. Have gotten lots of information, but it is some work.
