It doesn't sound too kosher to me. I wouldn't really allow it. His motives may be pure but it opens the door for "it just happened" Let him find his own female friends. There's nothing wrong with that.

Good LUCK!

Frankly I would be worried but then again jumping to conclusions doesn't help matters. Since he's your boyfriend you have the right to ask him why the heck he wants her number. I mean its either he wants to plan something special for your with her as a surprise or he's interested in her.

It's possible that it's innocent. Maybe he wants to plan some kind of a surprise for you and who better to ask for help and advice but your best friend. If I was you I'd give it to him and ask your best friend to tell you if he calls and what it's about. If she's a true friend, she'll tell you the truth. If it turns out he just wants it to "chat" to her, kick him to the kerb!!!

i think that means:
HE LIKES YOUR FRIEND!!!!
other options:
1. he get your friend's number so he can check you from her.
2. he wants to be close to the persons who are close to you.

you should confront him, tell him to tell you the truth, like if he still love you or if he's already falling for your friend. have a heart to heart talk. that's the best thing to do. but while having the talk don't overreact, you might scare him that might stop him in telling the truth.don't blackmail him if you don't like what he will say.

It's easy enough to ask him why he needs to call her, while you're giving her number. It could be innocent. After all, there are other ways he can get her number if he wanted to hide it from you.

that is somethin that you need to be suspicious about. you should ask him why? Or do something about it. If your best friend really cared about you I dont think she would hurt your feelings. You need to sit and have a talk with him.

He may just want to get to know her because she is your best friend, maybe he wants more insight into you. Could be totally innocent.

Ask him why he wants it, what connection he wants to keep with her without involving you, whether she has become as much his friend as she is your friend etc. I smell a rat here, be careful.

Unless your birthday is close I would be wondering the same thing!!! He doesn't need her number unless he is planning something special!!!
