Probably, it depends on the situation.

Everyone has an opinion. What is misbehaving? If a policeman asks you...you better! If a priest or elder asks you...I would weigh the situation and respect his position...to be "called out" for misbehaving - you must really be "out there" in your actions ...if a member of society tells you to behave I would wonder what their motive is and might just tell them to mind their own business!!

It depends on your personality and the situation. If you're a prideful person, regardless of the scenario, i say you'll not behave but rather misbehave more. However if your that social type of person and watchful of your actions and manners, then you should follow the command as obedient as possible. But if you have no fault and innocent at all, then I say make a barrage and express your utmost liberty.. Hehehe...

Weeeeell, I would think it probably best to behave because it is the correct thing to do. If someone's asking you to behave it suggests you are maybe not acting as they would like you to. Usually people say to respect your elders of people who know better, they don;t always, so its up to us to show them that we can behave (most of the time) ... and still have a little bit of fun too. Have a happy life.

why would you be misbehaving anyway?
surely you must know the difference between right and wrong? deep down we alldo its just a matter of self respect more than anything as it'd only be you who really suffered.so yes my answer is a very loud yes.
ive always believed that if what u do hurts those around you or yourself then you shouldnt do it and thats mentally and physical pain, be good to yourself and those around you but always be respectful.

I was brought up to respect my elders and to behave all the time. I do get a bit wild but I know how far to go.

Depends on what I was doing. Maybe they only thought I was misbehaving but I was only stating an opinion or defending myself. If it was clearly misbehavior, then yes. Apologize and behave.

At forty, I believe in respect, but my seventeen year old son (who has always been law abiding and polite) says 'what is respect'? He does not belive in doing something purely because an elder demands it, right or wrong. I think he has a point.

Yes I would, because I would realize at that point that I am offending someone or just plain getting out of hand. Maybe not intentionally, but I do respect others and would stop.

I'd behave if asked. Say, if i were to not behave I'd be arrested, then I'd behave. But any other time, I will behave if the person asking has my respect.

yeah- if my behaviour was offending someone i would feel embarrassed. i think there is a time and a place- you should definitely behave differently in front of a priest than in front of your friends.
