hi i think you should sit your mom down and talk to her tell her how you feel and please don't be embarassed to show your emotions. she's your mom she will listen at the end of the day no matter what, even if she doesn't reply promptly but she will come to her senses and talk to you. the thing is talking about serious issues helps alot and it makes people come closer to each other. i had the very same problem and i spoke to my mom and now we are happy as ever. sit her down and talk to her in a mannerly way don't scream and shout talk calmly and respectively promise you that will help you lots. you can even spoil her sometime like take her out to movies and have dinner and during dinner talk about the issues that hinders you mostly. i feel your pain and hope for nothing but the best of luck with the relationship. word of advice don't tell her how you feel when she's still angry coz it will only make matters worse and she'll end up saying things she didn't mean to say.... wait for her to calm down even if it takes her the whole day to come to her senses just give her time she's also human just like you. sweetie pie.

Maybe its time you moved away from home and start living on your own then you'll apreciate each other more cos you're going to start missing her and she, you.
You'll see that she'll look forward to your visits and try to please you in every way. On your on part try to look on the brighter side and be happy that you still have a mother to worry about.

It's difficult. Maybe you're ready for a break in order for your relationship to mould. Or the other option is to play 'happy' with her and her behaviour and not respond to it until she notices your effort, and with hope - begins to behave the same way.

Explain why you think she is selfish. If it is that she wont allow you to do as you please then that is not selfish it is having your safety at hart. Remember MOM'S were also young once and they have also made huge mistakes and am just trying to stop you from making the same. Please explain more.

Talk to her and let her know your feelings. Don't let them boil up inside of you, let it out maybe she will recognise what she is doing then,
