If you talk all the time then she has some an idea of the type of person you are...unless you are being fake with her. If she truly has fallen in love with you than it's a good thing because she obviously fell for who you are not what you look like or anything lilke that. I think her telling you she loves you scared the crap outta you and that's why you are bugging out. I do think she may be a little premature with the "L" word so I would suggest meeting in person, if you want, which you probably won't cause she already freaked you out.
As for why she said it....who knows, love is different for everyone. Maybe she is the type of person that falls easy, who knows. If you do not feel the same, you should be honest with her to avoid feelings getting hurt.

Maybe she doesn't love you, but wants to be with you to see if she does.
Maybe she does love you- something in your voice, your personality has charmed her.
Maybe she's just playing with you. You'll have to find out from one of her friends, or meet her yourself to see how things work out. It's important that you're always aware of her motives, and why she says what she does though. Figure this out as soon as you can!
