Frankly, I don't see much difference, but I might give Muslims the edge.

That really depends on a person, not a religion. I've met plenty of open-minded Christians. I just haven't met many Muslims so I can't be any kind of judge, though the ones I have met are nice. Again, it's the person not the religion that deturmines open-mindedness.

Here is an example. ONe would think that a strict Roman Catholic would be more close-minded then her atheist friends, right? Especially in the relm of gay rights. However, just the other night, I, a very religious RC, was having dinner with my friends when the topic came up. I was for gay rights, and, surprisingly enough, the open-minded atheist was against it. See, it's the person, not the religion.

I gotta agree with everyone else... depends on the person. As a Muslim I've known my share of extremists/puritans and as a former Christian I've known bible thumpers.

Whichever one it is, it would seem both may be more open minded than you appear to be....bible-thumpers? Come now, let's have a little tolerance. I think there are some in every religion and in those who profess to no religion that are open minded. Those are the ones who make it pleasurable to come to this forum.

Muslims are more open-minded. Here is an example; we believe all of the prophets includin Jesus too. But they dont. We respect and believe in all holly religions but they dont. Its a little but an important example.

I am a born again Christian and I am certainly not open minded, as I KNOW the way and the truth and the life. There is no way I could be "open minded" then. And there is no way I could not say what is true when people do not know truth. It is my duty to tell them. I also do it out of love for them.

However, all people, no matter their beliefs, must be treated with respect and love because Jesus Christ commands that of His followers.

C'mon Larry - let's not yell.

Let's start with how do you define open-minded?
Both Muslims and Christians believe that their way is the way to God.
Both Christians and Muslims believe their holy book is the correct one.

What exactly do you mean by open minded?

Keep in mind that the more sure you are of something, the less open-minded you are to contradictory statements and ideas....How open-minded are you for instance regarding the proposition that the earth is flat? Those of us who have no doubts about Christ are less likely to be opened-minded about the false teachings of Islam...

DEPENDS ON THE PERSON!

Ive seen both good ...bad...horrifying people from both faiths who are ALL educated.

Education does not change the donkey from being a donkey. lol

It depends really on the person you know.

Is the concept of individuality something so difficult to grasp or is that something you reserve only for non-Christians?
