I practice Aikido and a couple other Martial Arts. I shave my body and I am a straight guy. Do you think that shaving my body is unmasculine? I'm just curious to what some other people think.

Well it varies from girl to girl. But in my opinion its not an umasculine trait. In the first place it was society that depicted that it is ideal for females to shave their hair in the appropriate places. There are some cultures out there where removing their body hair is taboo. At the end of the day, you should feel comfortable in your own skin.

This is a question I asked only yesterday.
The general populace thought it implied homosexuality, regardless of whether it did or not. However, shaving has its physical and sporting advantages, so it shouldn't be consider feminine in that regard. Also, some girls like hairy men, and other girls do not.
I guess ultimately, a lot of people will question your sexuality whether they tell you so or not. Nevertheless, what they think is not who you are, so it's up to you to decide whether or not it's "unmasculine".

Why would you shave your body? Because martial arts originated in a country where male body hair was scarce if nonexistent?
Honestly, if I met a man who shaved his body hair I would question his masculinity and his mental balance. In short, I would scratch him off my list.

No it isn't, if its for your Aikido and martial arts then there's nothing wrong with that. I know males who play water polo who shave their body, and i see nothing wrong with it.
I prefer men who aren't hairy anyway, so that could benefit you with the ladies!

I don't think a man should shave anything other than his face (or back, gross)but if you like it I love it.

no its not bad to shave your body, but rember this what ever you shave it will grow back twice a fast and thick!!!
