The word of christ is a personal belief and opinion of a specific religion, whether a person is gay or not is a personal matter and has nothing to do with religion.
The word of Christ only applys to you if you are Christian, and certainly should not be forced onto those who choose not to be Christian. Suggesting to people that is ok to be gay is not preaching hatred or intolerance , but is supporting their democratic right to live their life as they so chose without hiderance or persecution. What your suggesting is completely inappropriate in education, since education is for all regardless of relgious belief.

Gay activists are not indoctrinating our children. In order to get Gay Marriage legalized, they have to go after the voters.... not the children. *Sigh* I have a child in school and there is NOTHING that is being said about gay marriage in his schools or even by the gay kids he knows. I know several other parents who's children are in school and they see nothing of the sort. They don't even TALK about homosexuality, not even in Health Class. I have spoken with many others, several of which have made the same claim you have just made and none could actually give me proof that it was being done. There's not enough homosexuals with enough pull in the Education System in order to do what you are suggesting.
Now as far as the Message of Love.... I have seen way too many times that "Love Christ or BURN for Eternity" sorry, but this is NOT Love... it's called Extortion... the Mafia uses it. THAT is what is intolerable. THAT is emotional and mental abuse of a child.
Not biased at all, when half of what you've posted is a lie.

Christianity is a religion. Being gay is not. You're comparing apples and oranges.
And quite frankly, as a Wiccan, if my children went to a school that started preaching that since Mommy is a witch she's going to hell and needs to be saved, I'd yank my kids out of there so fast it would make your head spin. For children of non-Christian parents, teaching Christianity in schools could prove extremely traumatic. Kids are traumatized enough these days by their peers - they don't need religion forced upon them to further traumatizing them.

I answer your question not only as a Pagan, but as a lesbian woman. I am not "mentally defilied", nor am I spirtually unaware or unhappy.
I am in the UK, and over here school children are taught about Christ and Christianity as objectively as they are taught about Islam, Hinduism, Judaism, and other religions.
They are not taught about homosexuality; instead they learn it through homophobic parents and the mass media. So, over here, it's the other way around. There's a lot of religious preaching, and not much help for those who are subjected to beatings because of who they love.
Everyone should live the way they want to live, as my faith says, "with harm to none".

Secular humanism is the religion of the public school system, Christianity is the enemy of cultural dictators and social elitists. Homosexuality is glorified in the media (tv shows, rock stars, movie stars), where most kids get most of their influence from.
But Jesus promised we would be persecuted.
We win in the end. I read the last chapter ;)

ABSOLUTELY!
Before I gave my heart to Jesus, I was a lesbian, so I have full rights to say it is an ABOMINATION to God. Christianity teaches wonderful principles for children and yet is kicked out our schools, but the filth of homosexuality is promoted.
Makes you wonder, doesnt it.
Great question.
By the way, I love all gay people, just hate their behaviour. I recognise that most gay people have been deceived by Satan into believing they are born that way. To all gays, Jesus really loves you. Be blessed.

Christianity, or any other religion for that matter preaches Natural Sex only with specific partner(s).
Sex, as religions see it is but an act for procreation. The pleasures of skin attached to it are incentives- nothing more- just like the fragrence, beauty, food value et al attached to flowers.
Homosexuality is neither natural nor can result in procreation.
It frequently leads to skewed, un-natural acts and is often associated with child/drug abuse.
Hence taboo.

I totally agree with you. We aren't supposed to teach children about God in our public schools, yet we are supposed to believe that children have a right and need to learn about homosexuality in the same schools. I feel it is wrong and very biased.

Unfortunately we live in the USA of the politically correct today. If you wish your children to have Christian influence you have to be the ne to give it. I have no problem with my children being told to tolerate anyone but I do not wish to have them told any lifestyle is to be welcomed if they feel deeply against it. I have many friends who are homosexuals and that is fine for them. However, none of them flaunt it in front of my children and keep what they do in their own homes where it belongs, in their homes. I do not mean that to be negative, but I would not go out and publicly air what my husband and I do in our bedroom even though it is not wrong for us to do what we do. Perhaps God has changed His mind since the bible ( I doubt it) and sees nothing wrong with what they do in their bedrooms either. Whatever the case, It really is between them and God and it is not for me to judge. But yes, to make a long story short, it is biased.

Many have shaken their Christian heads over that one for quite a while now. It just doesn't make sense. The thing that worries me is that I believe it is a tiny fraction of the population who are pushing this agenda.
