Check the local alternative schools, they actually get more money, since they are independent, for each student that they get. Their programs are usually very good, and you may be able to gt a diploma, and not a GED.

Here in Ohio if you go through you local high school they let you take a pre-ged for free, to see what areas you might need help in then if you pass that or the classes they waive you fees for the test.

Go to your local library to check out books on studying for the GED. You can also check out books that will help you study to actually learn material that you may not already know in order to pass the GED.
