I'm sitting here with the same thing going on with my 4 year old. She's is sound asleep at the moment because her fever last night kept making her sick. We went to the doctor early last evening and they did a strep test and a flu test. Flu was negative, strep was positive so you might want to go get some tests run on your kiddos. I don't know where you are, but my doc said both Flu and Strep are going around, which is pretty typical for this time of year. Chances are you need to get some antibiotics for the kids and stock up on the Tylenol and Motrin. Some ginger-ale and Popsicles would be a wise purchase as well. Good luck, but definitely go see the doctor today, the sooner the better.

Does your doctor have a call number for evening/weekend emergencies?
Call his/her office and you'll probably get an answering service who can page the doc and have him/her call you back. Tell them what is going on and they will advise you.
They can ask you questions and then decide if you need to go to the emergency room.
The blisters could be hand and mouth, but could also be a reaction to something. Its best to call. You'll be reassured and if they say wait until morning at least they will know you are coming in and this could push you to the front of the line at 9 am.

try some tylenol. sounds as if your daughter has cocsackie. it is a virus. the hand mouth and foot virus. does she have blisters on her hands and feet too. There is nothing you can do for a virus but let it run its course, and give tylenol, when she has a fever. good luck.
