A Christian believes that Jesus is the Son of God, the saviour of the world; the messiah. A Jew believes that Jesus could have been a good rabbi but was not the messiah while a Muslim believes that Jesus was a prophet of God (Allah) but not God. They cant all be right. 2 + 2 cant be 4, 5 and 6. Either Jesus was God, or He wasnt. If He wasnt, He couldnt have been a good rabbi, or a good prophet, but a blaspheming liar. Because it was JESUS who said HE is the way, the truth and the life and that NO ONE would come to the Father EXCEPT through Him.

Those that say all roads lead to the same path cannot say that.

Pretty much the best way to prove that Jesus was either the Son of God or not is to look to the resurrection (it does more than save people). People have a hard time trying to prove that Jesus wasn't resurrected. The biggest problems for those who criticize the resurrection are:
1) the authorities (Jewish and Roman) who tried to keep the faith from spreading, and
2) the martyrs.
There are others, but these are the major ones.

You are exactly right. I have tried to ask people of the Muslim faith how can they possibly respect Jesus as a prophet with Him saying the things He did about Himself.

I have asked Jews too. I think they are a little more forthcoming with their true opinion of Him, but they don't like to dwell on it much to outsiders of their faith.

Again, I agree. People need to realize it is extremely important to take a good look at spiritual matters because they differ greatly, to the point of eternal choice.

I cant be sure of exactly what Jesus said, as the bible has been edited far too many times for my liking.

However, if he had, am sure he would have meant:

the way I bring is the only way (which was true back in the time cause judaism was updated by Jesus's arrival)

Its all figurative speech if you ask me. He merely meant: follow my actions and you will find God.

If Jesus isn't God all our worship, prayer, wishing etc will never make Him divine. However if He is God all the denial, all the believing in other ways can not change the fact that He is God.

Perhaps not all of them are right. But they are free to believe what they want. If it could be proven that one religion was the ultimate truth, then it probably would have been proven by now. Instead there are just many theories.... I am not religious at all, logic is used to answer this question....

So, that means everyone is wrong except the ones that accept that we will never be able to know for sure so we just believe whatever works for us. Jesus was found guilty by the government, he even said himself that you have to obey the authorities. His mistake not ours.

Well that's the funny thing about mythology, none of it is truth.
It's all based on fantasy and fables so anyone can say it's the truth, but when you ask for proof, watch them hem and haw and change the subject.
No, when it comes to religion, the "truth" is just a word they use to try and convince the gullible to join their church. Why? Look to the collection plate for your answer.

A very good summary.

You seem bright enough to be able to understand a good portion of this proclamation:

The Splendor of Truth
(Veritatis splendor)

It's kinda long. Just scroll around.

Great point. I once heard someone say that if everyone's truth was right, then we could not say anyone was wrong about doing anything.

It doesn't matter what the truth is; what matters is that you should be true to yourself. this is what every religion preaches. this is what we pray God for - to find direction when we need, whatever the situation. ultimate goal is to be a good, compassionate human being whatever your faith. THE WAY YOU CHOOSE
