I go through this. It's really difficult. However the more a parent will try to control their kid, especially with their relationships, the more the child will try and go out of their way to be with that other person.

Try being nicer. One of my issues was that it was too close with the her ex that the rest of the family got along with.

Don't bend yourself over backwards for the woman, just be nice and accept it. You are there to love your boyfriend, not his mother. This suggestion doesn't mean that you shouldn't be a kind and courteous person to her. But if she keeps giving you hell, you'll simply just need to deal with it, or ask your boyfriend to defend you a bit.

she's probably scared of losing him, and is afraid that you'll be his number one priority and she'll be sidelined. Show her that you're not out to steal her son, and that your intentions are not to keep him away from her. That you love him just as much as she loves him and you want the best for him. She'll come to realize it sooner or later or will accept you. Maybe also try and find things you have in common with her, (there must be something!) make an effort to get to know her, be genuinely interested.
good luck

Have a one-on-one chat with her without your BF being present or else he would be torned between the two of you. Ask your BF's mother what it is that's bothering her about you. Ask her for guidance to improve on those areas. Build on that relationship and soon trust will seep in. Good luck!

Show respect to her because she is his mother and be the better person. Don't take it personal. She is showing a little jealousy due to the fact that you're taking away from her attention with her son.

Just be yourself and be respectful to her. Kill her with kindness, and absolutely do not say anything bad about her to your boyfriend. No matter how wrong she may be. Good luck and God bless

Take the time to find out why she dislikes you, then you can work on trying to correct whatever she finds so offensive about you.
