Why is it that no nice atheists ever post here?

Is it because there are none?

Or do the smart, kind ones not has internet access because they think computers are God?

Hey, I take offense to this!

I don't know if I'm truly an athesist or not, what I do know is I don't believe in the "gods" that any organized religion attempts to sheepwash me with. I believe in powers greater than myself, and other humans, I just don't believe that the King James Bible is the word of God, I believe that it is a compiled history of written stories, some true, some embellished and some out and out lies written to control the sheep...errr, followers.

Why is it that your religion allows you to be judgmental and bigoted against those that disagree with your opinion? Do you have any actual scripture that backs your attitude and states that this is your way into heaven?

I attempt to answer questions honestly and politely, but I do have to admit my smart alec self rears its ugly head occassionally, just like yours just did.

I guess I count in the atheist group. I try to be nice, and I don't rip on anyone's religion--I figure, believe whatever you like if it works for you. It's unfortunately not hard to get my hackles up, and I can get defensive, but I never go on the *offensive* per se. I don't ask questions like "Why do you believe in that garbage" or anything--if I'm asking about a religion, it's because I'm genuinely curious. (I'm also an anthro person in a religious field, and I find people's religious beliefs fascinating.)

I am a nice Atheist ,but I won`t allow myself to be put down by religious doctrine or quotes.
We don`t have that turn the other cheek clause in ourselves .
We believe if you can dish it out ,you should be able to take it - also.
I know I do more for others, personally ,than do members I know of organized religions.

Some atheists are nice (or at the very least agreeable).

If I were an atheist I could also ask "why are there no nice Christians here?" if all I had to go on was you and your questions... it all depends really on viewpoint.

There are some very nice athiests here mixed in here with the rude ones (just like there are nice theists mixed in a few rude ones). And I say this as a theist (Christian) myself.

There are as many nice atheists as there are nice christians (or any other religions). At least they won't blow you up because god wrote somewhere that you should smite down your enemies.

I, a Christian answered a religious question
by an atheists who was on here, he responded
back & he was VERY kind about our differences.
I guess it all depends on the person.
