Nah not suffering from it and dont reckon much to the theory either. I mean sure we all adore our daddies when we're little but to be "in love" with them.... tis a bit of a mad theory in my humble opinion

I have never really known my father so I wouldn't really know about that sort of thing. Although I have heard of it I don't know anybody with this complex. I don't think it is reciprocal as it would be called something else then.

Electra, was a Greek mythological woman who, so the story goes, pushed her brother to kill their mother because she allegedly was having an affair with someone else and thus hurting their father..
The vengeance of Electra has inspired many, many plays, stories, etc. and in modern terms is generally considered to mean the obsessive love of a daughter for a father.
