Can i keep a non-stick cake tray in a gas oven?

I always used to keep at least 2 non stick trays in my gas oven due to lack of storage space and it never made any difference to either warping or wear & tear in the teflon coating. Manufacturers say to dry baking equipment in the oven anyway to prevent rust...Good luck trying

yeah, I guess so. why not try it out with an old pan, if it does not work, just throw the pan away
