Cause I can't seem to find the unsweetened kind here.

And is baking soda bicarbonate of soda? I'm really clueless.

if the label just says 'cocoa powder', is that sweetened or unsweetened?

No, not without making adjuistments to your recipe. Just a note here unsweetened coaoa is the "normal" kind the sweetend kinf came along in the 50's and was ment as a drinking powder.
It you're having a hard time finding it just look on your grocers shel in the baking aisle. Hersheys Cocoa.

I agree with Tara you can not substitute unsweetened coco with sweeten totally two different things and will mess up recipe

As far as the baking soda yes it is sodium bicarbonate

No because the regular kind has sugar and other additives which will mess up your recipe.
