you have every right to be upset! its shocking that he forgot! let him know that you are upset - otherwise he will think it okay, explain that it is a big deal. a birthday is special. if he's great in other respects then dont hold it against him for too long and instead plan a day together to make up for him forgetting - that way u know you'll have a fab time b'cos u chose it!

I was with this girl for 6 years and she made damn sure I never forgot her BD. She would start reminding me about a month before, every single day, ten times a day."My bd is coming up ya know"? "I hope you get me something good or take me somewhere special"? And each year she would expect more than the previous year. On the 5th year we were together I had a limo pick us up and take us to Orange Restraunt for dinner. Afterwards the limo took us to The Forum to a Poison concert. Because I know someone who knows Bret we got to go back stage and even to their motel to party with em after the show. I thought I really outdid myself that time. When her next bd was two months away she started in on me. "I hope you haven't forgot my bd already"? "my bd is coming up you know"? Over and over again. I remeber the last comment she made was "you better do something outrageous for my bd". So the next morning while she was at her parents house I packed my bags and left her ungreatful selfish azz. I thought that was pretty outrageous. Don't you?

Oh yes, you should be upset!!!!! If he cares for you or loves you, he wouldn't forget such an important day of the year. I would give him a taste of his own medicine like removing the cable cord so he won't watch his favourite football match and tell him its not a big deal.

it really depends on how long you two have been going out and whats going on in his life. what was his excuse for forgetting?most times though guys are very forgetful when it comes to remembering specifics and things that are important to women are not to them. if you're young that makes the problem even worse because teen age boys are just not that sensitive. i think you were right in telling him but it was wrong for him to respond to you that way. bottom line in any relationship that means anything if its important to you it ought to be important to your bf/gf. i know it was probably very hurtful when your birthday came and went and there was nothing from the one person you wanted attention from. its really up to you whether or not you think this is important enough to break up over and if he apologizes and makes up for it and you forgive him then he's a lucky guy.

Firstly I think Meow is obviously not getting enough in the oral department!!!

Secondly and more importantly its not wrong for you to be upset. You need to tell him that birthdays may not be a big thing to him but they are to you. If you don't tell him he wont know.

And if that doesn't work either don't bother with his birthdays or find a boyfriend that will spoil you on your special day.

Tell him men aren't allowed to do that until marriage. Just kidding

Yes it's a big deal if he really cared he wouldn't have forgot.

It's ok that you are upset.

But it's ok for him to forget stuff like that too.

Men don't keep track of such trivial information the way women do.

Of course it isn't! You have every right to be upset, especially if you reminded him beforehand.

Don't hold it against him for too long though; just make a bit of a fuss, refuse to make sexy time for a bit, then forgive him. We aren't all perfect!
