I think of people in hooded cloaks standing around a bonfire chanting..that and virgin sacrifices, but that's only because what I know of satanism is from what I've seen in movies and on TV. I believe satanism is seen by teenagers as an expression of rebellion, after all most people live in a society infleunced by religion, where satanism is seen as antithesis of Chrisitanity; so if you want to be different and p*** off your parents, you become a satanist. I don't think most teenagers who are satanists take satanism seriously, its more like a badge of honour; a way to earn respect.

Angry Christians.
Satan is a creation of Christianity from the Inquisition. To be a Satanist you must first be a Christian. From my understanding of Satanist and Satanism they basically put the material world before the spiritual. I don't believe that anyone is wholly and completely evil. Satanist are probably more open about their selfishness.

That TV sketch (Trigger Happy TV?) where the satanists come round in red devil suits knocking on someone's door in the manner of Jehovah's Witnesses inviting the residents to the next virgin sacrifice.

Humans making excuses to be unkind.
When we live...........each moment of our lives......................it is either closer to the creator of "life" or further away.
We humans are "biochemical machines". Every thought or feeling you have ever had is an electro-chemical event in your brain. Who you are is dictated by your DNA, what you think is dictated by the thoughts "you" decide to have.
The technology involved.... in creating life is "mind boggling"
Intelligent design in nature is undeniable. It starts at simple celled organisms and evolves into the highest designed animals like us.
But the fragility of your life is your flesh. No flesh, no electro chemical processes that make you who you are. You become an organic compound like dirt. Undesigned, unliving.
My God is the "creator of life".
Do you worship life or death?

Hammer Horror movies mainly. Anton LaVey and Jayne Mansfield's shocking death in a car crash. I should add I don't think that is why she had the crash (it was the foggy road conditions) but they come to my mind. There is a photograph of Jayne kneeling and drinking from a chalice held by LaVey.
