He is friends with one of them, I am too. Sometimes they talk about stuff when they were together, like gigs or parties they went to. It really, really bothers me. I don't think I'm jealous of her, I don't think they'll get back together, but it really bothers me. Why? How can I stop it? iT's really inhibiting for me

if you are loving someone then u are going to get possesive and jealous for him. so its part of love. go on have jealousy and also be a bit protective for ur bf. its worth it.

I have this problem too. Just tell him how you feel, hopefully he will try to tone it down. I know I over react about it but I can't stop. Don't get mad or anything but try to be understanding. Most likely when or if you talk about exes it probably bothers him too. My boyfriend hates it. If he doesn't get it then ask him if he would like it, most likely he wouldn't. When it happens think of what you did before him, and that he's not the only one with a past so you have no right to get upset about it. This is what I try to do, it doesn't stop it but it helps. You have every right to be jealous. He is now your boyfriend and the fact that he was formerly dating the other girl makes the matter more worse. I believe you should express yourself to him and make him view the subjectmatter from your perspective. How would he feel if you were also very close to your ex? Jealous, I believe. Being close to his ex-girlfriends is very dangerous to your present relationship because there is every opportunity for a mistake to occur and this might forever jeopardise the trust you had for him. so, tell him how you feel and what you want to do and that is, "BE CAREFUL!!!"

Me too, when I find my bf talking with an ex-girlfriend, I feel somewhat jealous but what helps me a lot that I consider this just a past that will never exist again...try to let him love you more and more, and consider these talks with his ex-gf as any ordinary talks .

It is common that dudes do that. Ask him, if you talked of your exs a lot, how would he feel? Maybe then he will re frame of talking of them some. Guys may do that because of security and times when they knew loneliness prior.

Well, you can't expect him to act like he has no past.

i think you should talk to your bf, and tell him how you really fell about him talking about his ex gf's.
hopefully he should understand and not talk about that as much.
