Can anyone tell me what is the yummy garlic and yoghurt sauce that is sometimes put on kebabs? Do you have a recipe?

there is an arabic reciepe for the yogurt sauce called lemheye, yougurt arabic spices little kumon salt pepper little olive oil and little turmeric

Tzatziki (Yogurt Garlic Sauce)

cup Yogurt (thick)
1/2 cup Thin sliced cucumber slices, drained 1 clove garlic
3 tbl Oil
DIRECTIONS
1/4 tsp Salt
1 tsp Vinegar

Add minced garlic to yogurt and work in salt, vinegar and oil, working well until well blended. Add sliced cucumbers an mix well. Serve over fried zucchini squash. A very cool and refreshing treat. More or less garlic, salt and vinegar can be added to suit your taste. Can also be used as a tossed salad dressing

Crush two garlic cloves
chop some mint
Grate a small piece of cucumber
Add the above to a tub of yoghurt
season with salt and pepper

With regards to the first answer the yoghurt used is greek natural yoghurt.
You can also purchase the tzatki or however its spelt in the super market.

the yogurt and garlic sauce is tzatziki. its made from yogurt and cucumber. its also great on meat and rice crackers. heaps of recipes on the net. here's one for a start
