Nope.... Shaving will make it APPEAR to be thicker, simply because the hair is now growing in coarse, as it was shaved blunt. This gives the feel that it is spiky and thicker, when it actually isn't.... now you just have blunt ends where it was shaved. Waxing is the way..... Eventually, waxing kills the follicle. SO... don't listen to any myths... hair won't grow thicker unless your body chemistry changes....... (having a child, old age, medications, and that's about it) these really are your only options unless you want to bleach.... but it will still grow dark, many are allergic and get chemical burns... not always safe..... Hope this helps. Good luck

First of all, Whatever you do, don't shave it because it can really get worse. You're better off waxing it because it minimizes and slows the growth. I used Jolen bleaching cream for hair a few times before on my arms and above my upper lip, its lightens the hair but your natural color is going to grow back over the bleached hair after a lil while. I used Nair before sometimes my face broke out, waxing works a lot better for and don't have to do it very often. My slight mustache became less noticeable after awhile.

You can bleach it, or even tweeze it. I wouldn't automatically say no waxing though. It's great and no it doesn't grow back worse, it gets thinner and the hairs get softer. But bleaching is still a good option either way.
