no, I don't think so. but at some point in the hunger process, which is driven by falling blood-sugar levels, the body begins to feed on itself (ketoacidosis) and this stabilizes the hunger drive. temporarily.

Your stomach shrinks somewhat if you don't eat for a day or 2,plus I think maybe you just get used to the hungry feeling.?

I have felt like that ---yes....when I was so hungry and then the hunger just went away and thought of food became a little repulsive...like my body just didn't want to deal with it.

Sometimes you crave food, but for whatever you don't eat there is a name for it....Anorexia..
