Hey - I'm glad someone even cares about spelling! 'Appendix' is right, in both spelling and position.
It's a totally useless organ situated low down on your right hand side which sometimes becomes inflamed and infected and has to be removed.
I've often wondered if it ever, in human evolution, served a useful purpose? If anyone knows why the human body has an appendix, please let us all know!

The vermiform appendix that is attached to your intestines is usually on the right side. (Some people have their appendix on the left, but their heart is usually on the right side. When the organs went in their body, they got twisted and went in backwards.)
The appendix to a document is usually at the end.

It is located a little to the right of your belly button and just a little lower. You have spelled it correctly - appendix.

Find the top of your pelvis bone on your right. Draw an imaginary line from your belly-button. Place three fingers at the pelvic end of this line! Your appendix should be directly under your third finger!

It is on your lower right side, very low on the abdomen, almost in the groin area.
