If you would notice, the word reverend is mentioned only once in the bible, Psalm 111:9:

"He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name." [KJV]

Catholics called the pope his most reverend, while only calling God His Reverend. Does it imply the pope is greater than God while using the superlative term "most"?

Ashley: Isn't reverend and holy synanimous?

Even then, why would you put "Most" on their titles, isn't it an insult to God, calling another human "Most", as if addressing him the supreme rather than God Himself?

They don't. The Pope is His Holiness. Cardinals are called Venerable. Episcopalian American bishops are called "Most Reverend". Do your homework. No Catholic has ever called the Pope "Most Reverend". He has always been "His Holiness".

Um...Catholics do not address the Pope or God as what you have claimed.

Popes are "His Holiness", Cardinals are "His Eminence", Bishops are "Most Reverend", and Priests are "Reverend".

Catholics can refer to God as many things: Alpha and Omega, the Great I AM, King of Kings, etc. The list goes on. It is clear that God is above all else and there should be no confusion.

The Pope does not represent God, he is, in the Apostolic tradition, a successor of Peter, the first Bishop, appointed by Christ. Over time, the Bishop of Rome became THE Bishop by which other bishops came to follow. Whatever he says only "goes" if it is spoken "from the chair", and never to change doctrine, only to clarify it. There are so many misunderstandings about the Pope, even among Catholics. And yes, the Pope is referred to as His Holiness.

The Roman Catholic Church or Catholic Church is the Christian Church in full communion with the Bishop of Rome, currently Pope Benedict XVI. It traces its origins to the original Christian community founded by Jesus, with its traditions first established by the Twelve Apostles and maintained through unbroken Apostolic Succession.
The Church traces its institution to Jesus and the Twelve Apostles, in particular Saint Peter, the leader of the Apostles, who is regarded as the first Pope. The first known use of the term "Catholic Church" was in a letter by Ignatius of Antioch in 107, who wrote: "Where the bishop appears, there let the people be, just as where Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church."
Central to the doctrines of the Catholic Church is Apostolic Succession, the belief that the bishops are the spiritual successors of the original twelve apostles, through the historically unbroken chain of consecration . The New Testament contains warnings against teachings considered to be only masquerading as Christianity, and shows how reference was made to the leaders of the Church to decide what was true doctrine. The Catholic Church teaches that it is the continuation of those who remained faithful to the apostolic and episcopal leadership and rejected false teachings.

The thing is "why do they call him His Holiness anyways"?I doubt that the pope is that Holy to deserve that title. Through out the centuries the pope has been put on a pedistool so that his authority cannot be questioned.

It doesn't matter who calls who what. They are all a bunch of self made or group made authorities that don't have any respect for the Bible or especially God. You either follow them or the Bible it's your choice.
