The most effective way to lose fat is aerobic exercise in the "moderate" fat-burning range, ideally first thing in the morning before you eat. When you wake your body is ready to burn fat and your levels of growth hormone are highest at that time. Later in the day it can take up to 30 minutes just to put your body into a fat-burning mode.
Another overlooked way to burn fat is by lifting weights. Skeletal muscle has very high caloric needs... almost twice that of adipose (fat) tissue. Put on a little muscle and you will burn calories all day even at rest. Be aware that skeletal muscle weighs more, so with this approach you may see your weight increasing while your body fat is melting away. Not realizing this often stresses folks who think they should be losing weight as a measure of fitness. Forget the scale, look in the mirror and you will be happy.

The best way to lose weight is first of all not to stop eating. As it is very important for your body to get enough vitamins, energy and essential things they get out of a little bit of food. It is very important to do a lot of exercising. This does not have to be running 3 hours straight. It could just be doing some jogs around the neighbourhood 3 or 4 times a week for 15 minutes orso. It also important for your body to get enough fluids. This should be about 2.5 litres a day of water. Your healthy diet is important and at least 5 vegies and 2 fruits are to be taken daily. If you can, try to make up a training or exercising schedule, so it makes it easy as you know what you are doing at what time.

At size 10 you're obviously nice and trim but you know how you feel in your own clothes. Is there anything you've been eating lately that has caused your clothes to get tight? More takeaways, munching on chocolate and biccies? Alcohol? Cut out anything that's not doing you any favours and introduce some exercise for toning. Take 3 or 4 1/2 hour walks a week, go swimming 2 to 3 times a week. Anything that will tone you up a bit.

I'm in exactly the same position. ^^
I've noticed flab growing and growing - Ive started to roll over my tighter jeans, and I can't wear tight things because of my tummy. Sound familar?
Well, the best thing to do is exercise. Argh, the dreaded word! Kill it kill it!
Actually, it's not so bad. Im a bit of a lazy sod, but once you find something you actually enjoy, it's not so bad.
Swimming? You like swimming? It's great for you, and its a load of fun. How about the gym? You can be warm inside, listen to some music and run and cycle to your heart's content and still be comfy.
If that's not fun enough, how about a group class? Pilates, dance, even a martial art! They're great ways to keep fit without realising how much work your doing.
If you're a bit of a girlygirl, buy your exercise clothing, and jazz it up! Get some wild coloured rainbow laces for your trainers, buy some uber cute hairbands to tie your hair back in, buy an adorable new tshirt to work out in (maybe with your favourite quote or game character on it?) put a soft toy keyring or three on your kitbag. Best way to motivate yourself? Know you look cute while exercising!
There's a lot of ways to keep fit, and not all of it is gonna be for you, but as long as you keep trying new things, youre bound to find something you enjoy!

It really doesn't sound like you need to worry about your weight if you're a size 10. But, if you want to maintain your current weight then I can't emphasise enough how important it is to exercise. I don't mean a hour everyday in the gym struggling on the treadmill like Bridget Jones! - I mean a just a little bit everyday. Try and do something that you enjoy (that doesn't seem like exercise) like playing footy, join a salsa class, walk instead of driving/getting bus. Don't start dieting though!

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

Eat a balanced diet, smaller potion sizes and exercise at least 3 times a week for at least 20 minutes.
Easier to say than do!
