had a string of dates with this guy but think i came on too strong. he backed off saying he doesn't want anything serious. 2 months later he wants to 'hook up'. guys, what does he want? and if i see him, girls, how do i play it? kind of want something to happen between us but also think, it won't be a good idea...

Maybe he has changed his mind. But then he could be just bored and want some fun! See him and see what he wants. You'll soon be able to tell when you speak to him and spend time with him. None of us can tell you what he wants, guys are complicated... in a really simple kind of way, hehe. Play it cool. Whatever you do, don't come on too strong again. Good luck :-)

so now he's had time to think and he is ready for a relationship. but if he used the word "hook up".... sounds like sex.
tell him you're still interested in him and that you'd like to go on a date with him again and see how things go. don't get too serious too soon. let him come to you on this one.

Do you really believe that you're not so smart? Because if you do then just be a dummy and give him your body. Let him get his jollies off and don't fret when you realize that all you were to him was a screw. By then you do something else that's not so smart and guess what...you'll get smart but have aids...OK, that wasn't nice but stop playing the dumb one...you don't wear it well.

Go out on a date with him but don't come on to heavy. He might off backed off last time because things were moving to fast. Whilst he's had time to think about things he might of realised how much he likes you and wants to give it another go. But just move slowly.

play it very cool - dont be offhandish with him - but dont be over flirty - or making physical gestures like touching his arm or stuff like that.
DO NOT SLEEP WITH HIM!!!!
Hooking up - is kinda a loose term - play it cool and if he mentions anything just be honest and tell him you really dont know how to act around him as one minute hes telling you he wants nothing serious and then he asks you out again.

maybe he had another girl on the go at the time just take it slow dont have sex with him flirt tease but leave it at that keep him goin for a few weeks at least to make sure he aint just trying to get in your pants

Problem is,he may not be sure about what he wants! I'd meet up with him,be friendly-but not tactile. Chat,listen,and ask him outright why he wanted to hook up.
