Olive Garden Salad Dressing
1 1/2 cups bottled Italian dressing, more if needed
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons granulated sugar or artificial sweetener equivalent
1 large raw egg or equivalent liquid egg substitute, or 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Fresh spinach
Iceberg lettuce
Romaine lettuce
Sliced onions, separated into rings
Sliced radishes
In a blender container, combine 1 1/2 cups bottled dressing, Parmesan cheese, sugar and egg. Blend on high speed for 30 seconds or until smooth. Pour into the top of a double boiler and add the oil.
Stir gently, using a whisk, over gently boiling water until the mixture begins to thicken and the egg is completely cooked. Chill for several hours or overnight before using. If the dressing is too thick, add more bottled Italian dressing as needed.
Mix together equal amounts of spinach, iceberg lettuce and romaine. Allow 2 cups for each salad. Moisten the leaves with the dressing -- do not saturate. Let stand for 5 minutes. Add onion rings and radishes.

Try out these web sites, you should be able to find the dressing recipe. Olive Garden also sells the dressing now, and they even have their own recipe book.
