Logically and scientifically speaking, this occurance is natural. Every few thousand years, the earth goes through a climate shift. That's what's happening now. It's normal for the polar ice caps to melt and then form again. This process takes thousands of years. At worst, humans are slightly speeding up the process, but not by much. Most of the gases from our cars and factories don't even reach the ozone layer.
As for what the Bible says about floods and the seas evaporating, etc, one must understand that the Bible was written in a time when man had no understanding of the world around him. It was very scary to see natural occurances (fires, floods, comets, meteor showers, eclipses, thunder, lightning) and not understand why they were happening. With no resources to figure out what was really going on, they decided these things must be a result of God's moods and they wrote about it from their own perspective. In the current day, we understand why these things happen.
The Bible is a good book for looking back on a culture that shaped a major world religion. It should be taken as a book to inspire faith (if you're inclined towards that faith) and to view the ancient Hebrews through their own eyes. To put it in a scientific context is inviting trouble, though, because it was not meant to be a science book and even if it was at the time, it is vastly obsolete now.

Melting of the ice caps would not cause another flood of the entire earth. That flood covered everything, if the ice caps melted it would only destroy the cities on the coast and islands. And just because more water is covering the earth, that doesn't mean more rain...
Pretty logical answer if ya ask me ;) hope it helps.
God Bless,

His promise continues to be in effect as we talk each and every time you spot a rainbow bear in techniques God won't injury the earth lower back by potential of flood. have you ever observed the variety of fires and earthquakes? worldwide warming is guy's fault no longer God's.

God is not to blame for what is going on around us today.
Since the rebellion in Eden,Jehovah has been allowing sufficent time for man to try every possible way of governing himself independly of his creator.After all,Satan tricked Adam and Eve into beleiving that they could govern themselves and they didnt need God telling them what to do.And as billions of angels would have been watching these events unfold,had Jehovah destroyed Adam and Eve then and there the issues raised by Satan would never have been answered.We can see today what the outcome of that rebellion has been,man has not only damaged the earth but has also commited great cruelity and wickedness upon himself.
The Bible promises that in his due time,our Creator Jehovah God will indeed step in and not only destroy those 'ruining the earth' but also all the wicked who stand in opposition to his rule.(Dan.2:44;Ps.37:9-11,29;
Pr.2:21)

The earth flooding is a theory by scientists. Nobody knows exactly what will happen if global warming continues.
I believe that Jesus will come back before the earth ever gets that far along (if it ever does).
Plus, we don't have to worry... Nuclear winter will cancel out all global warming! ;)

It's God doing it, it's man. When you take oil out of the earth that is a natural coolant, things are going to start to heat up.
