Love isn't the headache its people's perceptions of what love is. If you don't put demands on it or have this high level of expectations you'll be alright.

I dont believe true love is. True love is patient, kind, never boastful, compassionate, caring, unconditional, forgiving, non-judgemental, and doesnt harm you. It may seem to hurt at times but true love does not hurt or harm. Caring about someone whose struggling can hurt. Compassion can hurt. But love shouldn't hurt.
