The one I'm involved in has seen many a variety of afflictions healed after the prayer of faith was offered up, from the common cold to inoperable terminal cancer!
People have come back with documented doctors proof that whatever was there before hand was completely gone sometimes eliminating the need for a scheduled operation!

What do you define as "modern"?
Teen Challenge does a wonderful job at "curing" drug dependance. They have a higher success rate than other programs.
The Mayo Clinic is about as close to an expert at curing most diseases as any out there.
Your question is under the topic of "cancer", so you will possibly be looking for answers in this area. I still say the Mayo Clinic, but also would add Cancer Treatment Centres. They are on the forefront of treatment regimes.
There are of course many people who currently claim to cure cancer with a variety of products. They usually ask for $10,000 up front and they feed you harmonically dynamized supplements and do all sorts of treatments. Their are many out there promising many things. Unfortunately as many who prey upon sick & desperate people. Motive, the money in their pockets. You are best to look for the names of well recognize organizations. In the instance of cancer, the cancer treatment centers in your area. Many well recognized clinics that deal with numerous health issues will have references to what you are looking for. Put your faith in them. Search the net for such sites. Be pacific about the health concerns & I am sure you will find what you need. Good Luck

people or organizations don't 'cure' people so to speak. They can help facilitate. Cure/healing is in GOD's hands. If you have a terminal issue for instance then don't go somewhere and waste money. There are people out there just waiting for that chance to take your money and tell you whatever you want to hear. Go straight to the one who wants to help you, GOD!
