Has he been checked for autism? This is a symptom of autism, remembering dates and other facts that most people simply forget or don't care about.

This is not common. He is gifted in some way. Try to find out his strengths and devlop him. He will be great success in future

wow... either he's really really smart, or he's autistic (i dont mean this in a bad way). you know how some special kids could be very smart. anyway, its only my opinion.
