Well we all know that the Australian Cattle Dog is the best breed in the whole wide world! But if you can't handle a cattle dog then the Border Collie will have to do. LOL

Some people do not realize that pets need to be exercised. They get a pet and think that it will just say and watch tv or video games. Pets need the owers to walk them daily and take care of them. so sad that some pets are not treated kindly. The poor dog is going to be upset when he is given away, animals have feelings also and need a home and love. Border collies are amoung the breeds that need people who are active.

I adopted a border collie mixed breed type and yes she does, in fact, require lots and lots of exercise. I factored that in when I got her which was actually one of the things I knew that I wanted in a dog when I made the decision to adopt her. It's unfortunate when people get dogs without proper consideration for the needs of the dog and the dogs end up being neurotic and miserable. Shelters are full of them. As for me and my mutt, we get along just great.
