That depends on what you´re after. If you like hillwalking try Skye in Scotland, truly beautiful. However if you like the beach you should go to Spain (any where north, south east or west- it rains more in the north though), by far the best for a great day at the beach followed by excellent food and a fab night out. If you want to be truly blown away go to the desert, sleep under the stars and go home a new person. If skiing is your thing try Andorra, it´s not as expensive as other places but is just as good. If you just fancy a weekend away I suggest one of the following cities, Edinburgh, York, Chester, Glasgow(great nights out), Bath and last but not least London.
Enjoy!

This is a 'how long's a piece of string' question but here's my take on it.

I tavel hell of a lot, holidays and work which takes me to some very nice places, here is the last 18 months worth.

Tenerife - Los Christanos
Zante - Tsilivi
Portugal - Villamoura
Turkey - Marmaris (2 months)
India - Jalandhar
Dubai - Dubai city
Oh, and Chester.lol

That's not an unusual 18 months so here's my top 3.

Beach holiday i would go to Cyprus.

Want lots to do? Florida of course.

Want to do something mind blowing? Dubai (not as expensive as you think)

Somewhere with a warm climate but not too hot.
Where there are no rowdy Brits giving us a bad name.
Where you can sample the local cuisine, not English food.
Where you don't bump into your next door neighbour on the beach.
Oh, and not too long a flight.
Is there such a place?

Depends on what you're looking for; if you want a beach holiday, sporty, hiking, skiing, theme parks etc...

It's hard to recommend anything when i might recommend something you'll hate!
