I dyed my hair aurban... but becoz the hair at the top off me hed was a light shade...my roots luk really red, how cud i get my roots the same colour as my hair, dying it darker wont work.. and i would lyk 2 keep it aurban.

Try one of those root touch up kits. its specifically designed for roots so hopefully it will work. i'm sure there will be an auburn one or at least one similar to the colour the rest of your hair is.

I'm a hairdresser and i would say you need to leave your hair for a good 5-7days as the colour will calm down and than i would go a shade darker and only apply it to the roots leave for about 20mins and than run the colour throught the rest of your hair and leave for about 5 mins and wash out.
Or you could get a brown or copper or both dye and give yourself some highlights.

You just need to touch up the roots of your hair every 4 to 6 weeks and it should be ok

oh lord...what can i say. i dye my hair every 2 weeks when it is red. i had highlights in my hair before and they turnrd a brighter red than the rest of my hair. u r just going to have to wait so it can wash out.
