In microsoft, Window OS is OS, Office program is addition program. they will not come together.

Some computer may allow the bundle with the office program or some company may provide a lower grade of software named Microsoft Works.

Anyway, you may download open office which can provide what microsoft office can do and it is totally FREE.

You should ask the company that's selling you the computer. It's up to manufacturers (eg: Dell, HP, Toshiba) to bundle the office programs. They are not included with Windows, no. Most places will let you bundle office software for cheaper than you might find in stores - but that will be a customizable feature. Either check the web-site configuration or give them a call.

Micorsoft is a clever compnay. They know that the office product sale is more than the winxp sale. Hence they wont bundle it in winxp. You have to buy it. By doing this they get double revenue. Revenue for WINXP and also for Office.

generally the new pc itself is installed with
1. operating system
2. required drivers
3. other supporting softwares (it may contain office XP)
but if you want to install office XP you can get it from anywhere at free of cost.
