It was from my Painting teacher, in 10th grade, Mr. Leger. I was having a hard time finding inspiration, had no ideas, no patience, no talent (or so I thought). So, he moved me to a corner of the room by myself, set up a cd player and told me to bring in 4 cd's the next day- all displaying different emotions, so I did. That day I was feeling angry/sad.. so I played staind.. he came over to me, I was just sitting and listening...I still couldn't paint. He placed red, black, blue, and white paint in front of me with 3 different paint brushes without a word. Then he said:
"Let the paintbrush do the work, just listen to the music."

I have been painting since.

But you can relay that into life as well...

"let ____ do the work, everything else will fall into place"

If you have imagination as a sesame seed, then all things are possible.
(Or something close to that LOL.) I can't remember the exact word-choice but I like the feel that imagination makes anything possible :)

I like a few but this one by John Powell is probably my favorite:
"The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing."
I also love "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger". It gives me hope in hard times.
