Remove some applications from your 'Start Up' folder.

Probably you have given so many programs to start with windows startup...uncheck all those by going to "msconfig" command in "run"...dont give the option for start up for a program which you install from now on...clean up temporary files, recycle bin and also keep defragmenting all your drives frequently for your pc to work faster!! 1. Click on Start ==> Program ==> StartUp
delete all item inside

2. Go to service if some application you don't want start during windows startup so choose manual start instead of automatically.

Go to Start -> Run
Type msconfig press enter
goto starup tab uncheck the unnecessary stuff.

You can solve easily. Just enter "msconfig" thro RUN command. Then u can get more tabs in a single window. Then u can uncheck which u feel unwanted in startup tab box. Then reboot yr system. Then feel free.

Go to start->Run-->write "msconfig" and Press Enter.....and in last tab uncheck the programs which u don't want...If u r using Win2000 copy msconfig file from net or any other OS like 98,XP,ME and copy in winnt/system32..........

delete some unopened files/unnecessary files..or change their location or place them on one folder....avoid downloading unnecessary files too....
