No. Questions of safety aside, the grill cannot sustain the temperature needed. You can roast or smoke the turkey on the grill, though it will take some time if the bird is a large one.

If the grill is hot enough to sustain the temperature of the oil in the pot and with the Turkey, then no problems at all, stranger things have happened in cooking

It seems like it would be wildly unsafe; lots of people have been hurt while deep frying turkeys in the pots designed for them; sticking it up on the grill will make it easier to tip over AND give you a great chance of instantaneous combustion.
Real-life frying accident: my dad had your avatar tattooed on his arm; the tattoo was nearly obliterated when he spilled hot frying oil.
Semper fi, baby!

Fill a clean cement truck with 1000 gal of virgin peanut oil heat to 375, Place whole animal inside for 90 minutes. Be sure to truss the prepared carcass with butchers twine to keep legs and tail from being overcooked. I normally use kosher salt, ground pepper, smokey paprika and a bit of cayenne as a rub to bring out the flavor... For a sweeter rub you can also use some brown sugar. Enjoy!! Serves 750 people.

well, Ive fried a few turkeys in my time, the only concern I would have is being able to maintain a constant temperature. Will your grill be able to hold the weight of pot?
good luck.

I don't think that would be the safest way of deep frying a turkey. You should buy one of those turkey fryer kits and put it out on an open area away from your home.

Please don't do that or you will have to cancel Christmas!! If you can't buy or rent an outdoor deep fryer, just cook it the traditional way. I know it sucks because deep fried turkey is the greatest but it is what it is...

You can probably do it but it won't be a safe way to do it if it spills and catches fire or worse yet, people get splashed with boiling hot oil.
