Curried Pasta with Chicken and Fruit

Ingredients
1 lb. Elbow macaroni or other medium pastashape, uncooked
3/4 lb. cooked chickenor turkey, cut into ½-inch pieces
3 cups seedless red grapes
1 20 oz. can pineapple chunkspacked in water, drained
1/2 cup fat-free mayonnaise
2 Tbsps. lemon juice
1/4 cup frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 Tbsp. curry powder
1 bunch scallions, chopped
Instructions
Prepare pasta according to package directions. While pasta is cooking, toss chicken, grapes and pineapple together in a large bowl. In a medium bowl, stir together mayonnaise, lemon juice, orange juice concentrate and curry powder. When pasta is cooked, drain well, rinse with cold water, drain again and stir into fruit mixture. Stir dressing into pasta and fruit and mix well. Sprinkle scallions over the salad and serve chilled.
CRAB SALAD
1 lb. pasta shells, cooked
1 c. chopped celery
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 c. sour cream
1 c. mayonnaise
1 lb. imitation crab meat
Slice black olives or fresh parsley for color
Mix together sour cream and mayonnaise. Mix all together and refrigerate.
SALMON SALAD
1 1/2 lb. salmon steak or 1 1/2 lb. canned salmon
Court Bouillon (recipe follows)
1/2 lb. sm. shell pasta, cooked al dente & drained
1/2 c. sliced celery
1/4 c. sliced green onion
1 1/2 c. cooked tiny green peas
3/4 c. mayonnaise
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp. minced fresh dill or to taste
Add fresh salmon to the court bouillon and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered 8 to 10 minutes. Drain the salmon. Allow to cool. Remove the bones and skin from salmon and discard. Flake the salmon into small bowl and chill for 1 hour.
In large bowl, combine the pasta with the celery, green onion, peas and mayonnaise. Add salmon and mix gently. Season to taste with salt, pepper and dill. Chill until serving time.
COURT BOUILLON:
1 bay leaf
1 carrot, sliced into 2 inch pieces
2 stalks celery, cut into 2 inch pieces
1 med. onion, sliced
1/4 c. (packed) parsley sprigs
8 to 10 black peppercorns
1 c. white wine
2 c. fish stock or bottled clam juice
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Try a Shrimp Pasta Salad
Boil your pasta til al dente
Put your shrimps in a pot with some salt, white pepper and very little crushed garlic and a few drops of water
Cook til shrimp changes colour and remove from heat. Allow to cool down
Chop vegetables of your choice into bite sized pieces
I use cherry tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, sweetcorn, cucumber and a tin of mushroooms
Mix veggies, shrimps and pasta til well combined
Chill til needed
Whisk the following vinagrette
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon malt vinegar
3 tablespoons salad cream/mayo
salt
freshly ground pepper
1 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley
Mix into the salad
Serve the salad on a bed of salad leaves
Garnish with black olives and crumbled feta cheese

Rotini Pasta Salad Recipe
8 ounces rotini noodles
8 ounces chopped imitation crab meat
cups broccoli flouretts
1 cup roma tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
1 cup zesty italian salad dressing
2 tablespoons parmasean cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Bring three quarts of water to a boil. Add rotini noodles and boil until just tender. Remove noodles with a slotted strainer, place into a colander and rinse. Place the broccoli into the noodle water and boil until the broccoli turns a bright color green. Drain.
Place noodles, broccoli, crab meat, onions, tomatoes, mayonnaise, salad dressing and parmesean cheese into a large bowl.Stir gently until completely combined. Cover and refrigerate for two hours for the flavors to combine. May need to add more mayonnaise and salad dressing if it looks too dry after being refrigerated.
Tip: This recipe doubles easily and is a great one to take to barbecues.

There are many recipes for Pasta salad. You have mayonaise base pasta salads and oil based. Want something easy.....Macoroni and italian dressing. Chill then eat.

.1 pkg. (28 oz.) or 2 pkg. (14 oz. each) KRAFT Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner
1 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing or MAYO
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sliced green onions
4 hard-cooked eggs, peeled, chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1 small red pepper, finely chopped
COOK Macaroni as directed on package; drain. Rinse under cold running water until completely cooled. Drain well.
MEANWHILE, mix Cheese Sauce, dressing and milk in large bowl until well blended. Stir in green onions.
ADD macaroni and remaining ingredients to sauce mixture; stir gently until well blended. Serve immediately. Or, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve

Cook macaroni and rinse in cool water. Cut up some stuff you like to eat and mix with macaroni. Mix some seasonings you like with mayonnaise and mix with macaroni and other stuff. Eat.

depends what you like i use mayonnaise, eggs little onion powder, and if i want it sweet i put sweet salad cubes (pickles) also just a touch of mustard and salt and pepper to taste if you want to turn it into tuna salad just add tuna to it
