The other day, a white woman co-worker, expressed this to me. I know she knows nothing about my personal life, for that matter, no one does. She felt that she could make this statement to me and without hesitation, but respectfully, I set her straight.

She believed the hype. Plain and simple. I am on the other end of the spectrum. I am a black woman who married a white man. It wasn't that I thought I was better than white women. I just happened to meet the "man" that treated me the way I deserved to be treated. He just happened to be white.

I've heard this from white women and some black men. That black men prefer to date white women over black women, because black women are too loud and obnoxious.
I obviously have no idea if there is any truth to my statement. I was just repeating what I've heard before.
So maybe thats why she said it..

maybe this white woman is comparing herself to a very specific woman who is other than white in which she feels is not as good for this black man as perhaps her, i am pretty sure by "them" you mean "her", she is only generalizing to get a point across without pointing.

I dont know but sounds like she has issues, no tact and the uncanny ability to hump anything within reach.
