Why would you want to marry a man who you church claims is condemned to hell because he does not submit to the Pope?
If you really ARE a Catholic, then that is your position also. If that is NOT your position, then don't call yourself a Catholic.

As far as the guy is concerned, he's in the same boat. Protestants believe that true Catholics are condemned because they reject the doctrine of salvation by grace through faith ( in Jesus) alone.

Sounds to me like neither one of you has a firm grip of the theology of your respective organizations.

I think marriage is the LEAST of your conerns.

What's the question?

Do you know that praying to dead people is forbidden by God? Do you know that the mother of Jesus had other children and that she can't be a co-redemptrix? Jesus is the only mediator between God and men. Your own Catholic Bible says this (Dhouy Rhiems and New American).

If you continue in sin after knowledge of the truth you are playing Russian roulette with your soul.

You might not have a choice. Many priests won't marry a non catholic couple. Better talk to your priest about it. However, the wedding is usually in the bride's church, since it is traditionally her family that pays for it.
