I don't know, but I think they and their members have proven they are not qualified to judge others. They are no better than anyone else, and they are no better at defining what is healthy and what isn't. Perhaps they will learn to judge only themselves by their "holy" books, and learn to let others defines their own lives, and butt out of everyone's business.
And to be sure the sex scandals are not just at the top, they are EVERYWHERE in between and all the way down to the bottom.

Let me quantify this statement by saying that I am not now a Christian; however, in the time I was, I was involved with a charismatic church.
I think they're looking at growth, at least in the near future. It's not just sitting in the pews listening to some guy talking, it's a pretty full-blown religious experience every Sunday--and that right there, a religious experience, is what many people are seeking. How will they do over the long haul? That one remains to be seen.

I went thru a similar thing in the church I belonged to back in '88.
A sex scandal at the top, etc.
The ministry was, for all intents and purposes, dismantled. It still exists, but on a much smaller scale.
Many of my brethren "threw the baby out with the bathwater" and walked away from christianity.
Many became non practising christians.
The rest picked up the pieces, decided that Christ was their Lord, not men, and moved on to a different church, wiser and stronger.
That's been happening since Peter and Paul, and will continue.

I'm not charismatic but, in all fairness, they seem to be doing quite well.

anything which is not built on God but for man's glory will be destroyed.. if the charismatic churches follow their own path and not the one which God has commanded they will die out eventually.
