The Bible clearly speaks of God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit...and also clearly presents that there is only one God. Thus the term: "Tri" meaning three, and "Unity" meaning one, Tri+Unity = Trinity.
It is a way of acknowledging what the Bible reveals to us about God, that God is yet three "Persons" who have the same essence of deity.

That's not a doctrine; it's a load of cr*p. Jesus is One with the Father. He is God's only begotten Son. That's begotten, not adopted. Where did you come up with this "adopted" nonsense? Sounds like something a Muslim would say.

Jesus Christ is the son of God. Man was created in God's image and are also considered his children, although not part of the Holy Trinity of God, Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is the son of God. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit have been there since the beginning. They are all 3 parts of the 1 triunity. Jesus is not the adopted son of God.

Someone must have just decided, since he/she doesn't know what to believe that he/she would just create their own religion and see how many idiots would follow the new belief. And the bad thing is...There are actually people dumb enough to fall for it, and even give money for the cause.

No And the idea that god is real is bad for children as it makes them think God will always protect them hence a false sense of
security ,naivete , and gullibility just waiting for the evil pedophiles to take them to an easy homicide! tell your children the truth for there own sakes . no false sense of security is worth their lives.
