You shouldn't be directly deleting it.
Open Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add and Remove programs.
Select the program you want gone, and press Remove.

Hi
As Kazaa is a p2p software and usually very small. You can do it by Going to control panel> Add remove programe>click on remove button.
But if it didnt worked coz sometime this happens then just go to program files folder in your Window Folder. Just delete the Kazaa folder from their.
this will free the space you required. hope this will help you
take care

right click on it
click on properties if read only is checked, then uncheck
click on apply
now try to delete
if not possible
go to dos prompt and change directory to path where that file is stored
give command
del
if u get the message 'access denied'
then give the command
attrib -r
now give the command
del
if this also does not solve your problem.
if the file u are trying to delete is a software
use add/remove programs of control panel
if this also does not delete the file
take a backup of your data and format your hard disk
reinstall all your software and copy back your backup files
if all the above does not solve your problem
take a screw driver open up your sys
remove ur hard disk
throw it outside the window
buy a new hard disk
